Who we are
ColdSmith (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2023/258196/07) is responsible for the details you send us. Our office is at 3 Hawthorne Close, Faerie Knowe, Cape Town, 7975. You can reach us on 084 578 0717 or at sales@coldsmith.co.za.
What we collect
When you send a quote request or a message through this website, it sends us:
- your name and email address
- your phone number and company, if you give them
- the department and the type of work you pick
- what you write about the job
We need your name, email address and the details of the job to answer you. Your phone number and company are up to you. We don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
What we use it for
To answer your request: to reply to you, quote for the work and arrange it with you. We don't sell your details or add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
The forms are delivered by Web3Forms, a form service whose servers are in the United States, so your details leave South Africa on their way to our inbox at sales@coldsmith.co.za. If you call or email us instead, they come straight to us. If you message us on WhatsApp, your messages reach us through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's privacy policy.
The map of our office loads from Google Maps when it scrolls into view, so Google receives your device's internet address, as it does for any site that shows its maps. Google's privacy policy covers the map.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for your request, the work that follows and our business records, and no longer.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email sales@coldsmith.co.za or call 084 578 0717. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
